Galaxy-Halo Connection

Galaxies form at the centers of dark matter halos, which merge together hierarchically (small to big) to form the largest structures in the universe. Much of my work aims to elucidate the complex interplay between galaxy formation and the assembly of dark matter halos.

To understand the galaxy-halo connection, I study galaxy clusters, which are the largest gravitationally bound structures in the universe.
